Aiotima views fragrance as an integral part of how people move through the world.
Our practice builds on years of behind-the-scenes work in fragrance that began under the name Ataraxia. our foundational knowledge of development, laboratory services, and education, gives structure to our studio. Aiotima is rooted in experience, personal practice, and a deep history in design.

Our work includes perfume and product development, fragrance direction for brands and artists, hands-on workshops, and individualized projects. We work with businesses, individuals, and events, creating scent for bodies, spaces, and purpose-driven use.
All work is project-based.

Our broader creative system is informed by our history working with clients such as Nike, Adidas, Stussy, and Undefeated. Drawing on this experience to frame how we consider identity, use, and customer experience. Our history in production, design, fashion, and branding informs our work.

Since we sold our first fragrance in 2019, our work has taken place quietly, supporting brands, products, and projects through development rather than public release or retail.
Aiotima is led by Tianna Blue, a three-time Art and Olfaction Awards judge and head perfumer at The Perfumer’s Studio LA since 2021. She specializes in natural formulation, teaches at The Perfumer’s Studio LA and independently, and brings over a decade in design to her custom fragrance development work.

It lays itself bare to our continual dismantling through use. We will never know what it means. Connection happens through transmitted intensities, through convergence, through relation.

Desiring machine.
As we engage, we survey and map. Territory is formed, undone, and reformed through encounter. Through this movement, we deterritorialize and reterritorialize.
